ASrock Fusion ITX board available for €88

by on01 February 2011

Atoms beware
The first Fusion boards are slowly starting to trickle into retail, but most of them are still priced well over €100, which can hardly be described as a bargain.

However, ASrock's E350M1 is currently available in Poland for as little as €88, while German and Austrian consumers will have to cough up between €92 and €95. All things considered, this is a rather good price. Most high-end Atom boards cost between €70 and €90, while ION boards with dual core Atoms cost even more.

The E350M1 is a no thrills board, with AMD's E-350 APU at 1.6GHz, HD 6310 graphics, two DDR3 slots and a PCIe 2.0 x16 slot. It also supports eSATA 6Gbps and packs four SATA 6Gbps ports. Although it doesn't sound like much, this is more than enough to make any Atom feel inadequate and seek professional help.

We wouldn't be surprised to see even cheaper implementations of AMD's Fusion platform over the coming weeks and months. Things are not looking good for Intel's Atom to say the least.

You can get it here.
