Nice clean design

One of the guys over at Xtremesystems forum has managed to get his hands on a picture of the upcoming EVGA X58 motherboard. The motherboard is still in its early design stage. but it gives us a pretty good idea about the looks and features of the first Intel-based motherboard that will come from Nvidia's most praised partner, EVGA.

The new EVGA X58 motherboard will have support for 3-way SLI and some of the interesting overclocking friendly features like EVGA VDrop control and EVGA E-LEET Utility. Other specs include six DDR3 slots, ten SATA ports and one e-SATA port, on-board power, reset and clear CMOS buttons located under the last PCI slots as well as the clear CMOS button on the back panel, dual Gigabit LAN, FireWire and e-SATA on the back, eight USB ports on the back panel and probably a lot more as soon as the motherboard gets in its final stage.

It is a nice and clean design and great things and high performance are the only thing that we could expect from EVGA. What else can you expect if you know that Peter Tan a.k.a. Shamino has his fingers deep into this one?

Here is the picture, and you find the forum thread here.
