New Intel motherboards

Nvidia plans to launch Nforce 790i on March 18th. That is just five days away. Currently, we are not sure whether this includes 790 Ultra or not, but in the real world Ultra is simply a better overclocking version of 790i.

The 790i supports all latest Intel CPUs, including 45nm Quad-cores, DDR3 memory and Three-way SLI. DDR3 is still too expensive to make a faster massive transition from DDR2, but as Intel has its DDR3 chipsets for a while, Nvidia had to release its own version.

We learned that 790i will offer some great overclocking abilities, at least on the memory side. SO, on the 18th Nvidia launches two big things: 9800 GX2 and Nforce 790i, and on the 25th it launches the rest of the gang.
