XFX has just announced Nforce 780i SLI motherboard. The new motherboard will support triple SLI with three PCI Express 2.0 slots.
XFX's Nforce 780i SLI motherboard will use the new NV Monitor, which includes full overclocking for Intel's Yorkfield and Wolfdale CPUs. It will include Nvidia's Firstpacket, Dualnet and Mediashield technologies. The new XFX 780i SLI will also feature support for up to 1200MHz DDR2 memory, six SATA drives, ten USB ports and FSB of up to 1333MHz.
The interesting fact is that this will be the first motherboard that will include ESA or Enthusiast System Architecture, the same one that Nvidia has been preaching about for last few months. The plan is to allow users to integrate different ESA components into one platform so they can have greater real-time system control.
