Hands on: Snapdragon 835 version

There is no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most widely anticipated phones that will shape the first half of 2017,  and the USA and Chinese customers are getting the Snapdragon 835 version while Europe and the rest of the world is stuck with the Exynos 8895 version.

Exynos 8895 vs. Snapdragon 835

Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ will be available with two SoCs, Samsung's own Exynos 8895 chipset and Qualcomm's pride and joy, the Snapdragon 835 chipset, and now, both of them have been pitted against each other in a couple of benchmarks.

Sounds better than 830

Some might be interested how Qualcomm chose the name Snapdragon 835, especially as most people expected to see the Snapdragon 830 replacing last year’s champion, the Snapdragon 820.
