According to a string caught in Google's latest Camera App, which arrived with the Android 12 Beta 4, both Pixel 6 series smartphones, which are expected to launch later this year with Google's Tensor SoC, will also feature Samsung's GN1 sensor for the main camera.

The Samsung 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN1 sensor was unveiled back in May last year, features Dual Pixel and Tetracell technologies, and uses 1.2Ξm-sized pixels with 4-to-1 binned mode. The same sensor was used in the vivo X60 series and Meizu 18 Pro smartphones, and should offer decent camera shots.
Earlier, it was also confirmed that the Google Tensor SoC was created with Samsung's SLSI division and is rumored to be paired up with Samsung's Exynos 5123B modem.
We probably will hear more about Google's upcoming Pixel 6 series smartphones as we draw closer to the launch.
