LG Optimus G Pro coming to Japan

by on22 January 2013

NTT DoCoMo gets it first

LG’s new Optimus G Pro superphone is coming to Japan, courtesy of NTT DoCoMo. Of course, the rollout will not be limited to Japan and the rest of the world should get the new flagship a bit later.

The Optimus G Pro features a 5-inch 1080p screen, quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSDXC slot. The phone also features a 13-megapixel camera, LTE and a beefy 3,000mAh battery.

NTT DoCoMo will start selling the new phone in early April, but there is still no word on worldwide availability. The plain Optimus G is still rolling out to some smaller markets, so the Pro is probably not coming to a shop near you anytime soon.
