Windows phone sales shoot up fourfold

by on29 November 2012

Over last year

Speaking at an annual shareholder meeting, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer told the world that Windows Phone 8 sales are going strong. Ballmer claims Microsoft is selling four times as many phones as last year. Not bad.

However, Ballmer stopped short of providing exact figures on Windows Phone 8, as well as other Windows versions.
