Nokia Windows phone leaked

by on24 June 2011

Dubbed Sea Ray, based on N9 chassis
A Hungarian blog stumbled across some rather interested, purported to show Nokia’s first Windows phone.

The device, codenamed Sea Ray, appears to be based on the recently introduced N9. However, the details are quite sketchy and we don’t know much about the spec.

We can merely assume that it will closely resemble the N9 in the hardware department,  meaning 1GHz Cortex A8, 480 x 854 pixels 3.9-inch screen, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera and, most importantly, Angry Birds. Of course, the OS of choice will be Mango.

Punters expect Nokia to formally announce its first Windows handsets in early by the end of Q3, while availability is slated for mid to late Q4, in time for the holiday shopping season.

Interestingly, pictures of yet another N9 lookalike running Android have also appeared online, but it’s unclear whether this was a Nokia effort or the work of enthusiasts who had some inappropriate relations with N9’s software.
