Samsung Galaxy S2 hits Austrian mobile providers

Still no retail stuff
As you probably know by now, Samsung’s Galaxy S2 is a dual-core smartphone and it seems to be one of the first non Tegra 2 phone to launch in the German speaking part of Europe.

Two mobile providers in Austria, the biggest one called A1 as well as 3, present in many other countries have announced that Galaxy S2 16GB is available. We tried finding it in retail / etail and so far, we haven’t had much luck with it.

Amazon for example lists it for  €569 with free shipping but it tells you that despite buying one today you won’t get it at least before May 27th. The new phone from Samsung has a lot of nice features including two core Samsung Exynos 4210 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, Mali 400MP graphics, 1GB memory, 4.3 inch Super Amoled Plus display, one 8Mpixel and front 2Mpixel camera and it weighs a rather amazing 116 grams.

Lucky Austrians who want to renew their contracts or sign a new one can get this phone as low as zero euro with €30 monthly plan for the next two years. Both A1 and 3 (Drei Hutchison 3G Austria) are supposed to send their first devices to customers any day now.
