MacBook Air netbook clone turns up

12.1-inch screen, HDMI and more

Although we can say with certainty that we've never heard of Teso, the company has come up with a rather decent looking netbook which has borrowed most of its design from Apple's MacBook Air, although it does have two USB 2.0 ports.

Presumably this is not the final production model, or at least it doesn't look like it, as the covered on the bottom of the netbook is a different colour to the rest of it. Design wise it doesn't look amazing and it seems somewhat cheaply made. However, it has a rather large touch pad, two USB 2.0 ports, a single audio jack and one feature that might gain it some popularity, HDMI.

Other spec's seems to include an Atom N270 CPU, a 250GB hard drive, a large (for netbook standards) 12.1-inch display and some kind of WiFi. It doesn't have any additional ports and we've yet to find out what chipset it'll feature, bit the HDMI port is hopefully a sign of the GN40 or maybe even ION. At 1.4kg it's not too heavy either, considering the larger screen.

It will also be interesting to see if anyone picks up this model for sale outside of China, as that's the real deal breaker for most of us.

You can find plenty of pictures here and some additional details (in simplified Chinese)
