At Communicasia 08 tomorrow

Pictures and information of a few upcoming handsets from Sony Ericsson have made their way online and the company is expected to announce several new models during Communicasia 08 which starts tomorrow in Singapore.

At least three new models are expected, which includes the F305, S302 and C905. The F305 is a simple gaming phone with a built in accelerometer and is held sideways with a pair of Playstation-like keys above the screen. This slider has fairly basic features, such as a 176x220 pixel display, quad-band GSM with EDGE support, 10MB of built in memory which can be expanded via a M2 memory card, a 2Megapixel camera and, of course, a built-in MP3 player and FM radio.

The S302 is equally simplistic, but comes in a candy bar form factor and adds auto focus and an LED flash to the camera. It doesn't have the gaming features of the F305, but it comes with 20MB of built-in memory and some photo editing software. Both the F305 and S302 have support for Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 for fast file transfers.

The C905 is Sony Ericsson's latest CyberShot handset and the details are still somewhat thin, but this is the first slider in the CyberShot range and it has been fitted with no less than an 8.1Megapixel camera with auto focus and a xenon flash, although it lacks optical zoom. It can also shoot video at 640x480 resolution, it has a 320x240 display, some kind of WiFi support built in and it will also suppot 3.5G.
