Orange sells 30,000 iPhones in France

Since last week

 

France Telecom said today that its Orange division had already sold almost 30,000 iPhones in the country since its introduction on the French market last week.

As in the rest of the world, gadget lovers and Apple fanboys queued up in front of retail stores ready for the shopping frenzy, but still it was nothing close to what we saw in the U.S. earlier this year.

Due to legal issues, Orange was forced to offer an unlocked iPhone in addition to the standard contract deal.
