Asus didn't announce one, but two, mobile phones with built-in GPS today and although the P527 (as this one is called) lacks some of the functionallity of the P750, it still looks like a very feature-packed phone.

This time, we're talking quad band GSM with GPRS and EDGE support, but no 3G. It retains the 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR from the P750.

It also has the same 240x320 resolution, 2.6-inch touchscreen and also shares the 128MB of ROM and 64MB of RAM. However, it has a much slower 200MHz TI OMAP 850 CPU, which is a bit of a shame.

Again, it has a SiRF Star III GPS reciever and Asus supplies the same Travelog software as with the P750. Asus has added an FM radio, but you have to make do with a 2Mega pixel camera this time around.

It also has a micro SD card slot and USB 1.1 PC connectivity. The P527 measures 113x58x15.4 mm (HxWxD) and weighs 129g.
