PlayStation phone a possibility

According to the Financial Times, Sony Ericsson is considering to use Sony's Play Station and Bravia brands to create a high end mobile phone.

Playstation will likely go mobile since Sony was successful in using the Walkman and CyberShot brands to create high end mobile phones that now rule the world. Even the Bravia brand ended up on the mobile phone in Japan with mobile television capability.

According to the statement from Miles Flint president of the Swedish-Japanese handset market, they have to make sure that it is a credible phone, or in short that it will make piles of money, and that it is an area of possible future activity. Miles Flint also commented that Playstation phone is certainly a possibility but that is still too early for that technology.

We will answer our calls on the new SE Playstation phone, but according to Sony Ericsson, it is still early for that.
