Quanta refuses to confirm iPhone deal

Quanata has refused to confirm or deny that it has secured an order from Apple to assemble five million iPhones.

The company says it makes it a point of not commenting on media reports pertaining to business secrets involving specific clients or contracts.
Although a simple 'no' would have been fine.

Reports in the Commercial Times cited industry sources as saying that Quanta Computer is slated to start the delivery of iPhones in September.

It seems fairly certain that Quanta Computer is joining Hon Hai as a contract maker for Apple's new cell phone due to hit the US market
through AT&T in June, the sources told the newspaper.
