Patriot has joined the 2500MHz DDR3 kit gang by announcing its own Sector 5 DDR3 2500MHz dual channel kit. This new kit targets enthusiasts and overclockers meddling with Intel's P55 chipset.

Patriot's Sector 5 Edition kit features two 2GB modules that are using an aircraft-grade aluminium heatspreaders. The kit works at 2500MHz with CL 9-11-9-27 latencies at Intel-loving 1.65V. The same kit is also available as a 2133MHz and 2400MHz kit. The 2133MHz one has a bit more tighter latencies set at 9-9-9-27 while the 2400MHz one is limited to 9-11-9-27.

All three kits feature a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, the price or the release date haven't been announced.
