Enhanced latencies at a low price

Patriot has launched its new Gaming Series lineup of memory kits. Patriot claims that its G Series will give you the look and feel of high end gaming memory kits at an advantageous price.

The new G Series kits are based on Enhanced Latency line for both DDR2 and DDR3 memory, and currently Patriot has a total of six kits. The DDR3 lineup consists of two triple channel kits, where 3GB kit works at 1600MHz while the 6GB kit is doomed to 1333MHz clock. Both of these are working with the same 9-9-9-24 latency at 1.65V. The next two kits are basically the same except for the fact that these are dual channel 4GB kits and that they need 1.8 Volts to work.

The last two are a part of DDR2 lineup, and consist of two 4GB DDR2 kits working at 1066MHz and 800MHz. The PC2-8500 at 1066MHz has 7-7-7-20 latencies at 2.1V while the 800MHz kit has 5-5-5-12 latencies at 1.9V.

Unfortunately, neither one of these kits have been listed, so we will have to wait a bit to see that announced advantageous price.
