All listings removed

Since our story yesterday about AMD's Radeon HD 4850 being on sale in Europe, both of the listings on Geizhals.at and on the listing on the Website that had stock of the PowerColor cards, have disappeared. We're not sure why this is the case, but we can only guess that AMD has put pressure on them to remove the listings until the official launch.

The specifications are still available on Geizhals if you click on the links in yesterday's story, but there are no company listings and if you search for Radeon HD 4850 the Geizhals search comes up blank.

Call it conspiracy theories or whatever you want, but it's not often you see products available on various Websites being pulled en masse like this; and we can only guess that AMD Europe did something about the fact that cards were on sale early.
