94 percent of WHQL is done

The best way to make us laugh is to mention Intel's IGP, DirectX 10, a driver and put it all in the same sentence. After months, if not quarters of delays, Intel actually might have a functional DirectX 10 driver.

This should happen by late April and it looks that G35 and upcoming G43 and G45 are going to get this DirectX 10 driver after all. It’s only been a bit more than a year since Microsoft has released DirectX 10 so Intel looks just a tad late. At this time, Intel claims that it can pass 94 percent of WHQL tests but if we remember correctly, you are supposed to pass all WHQL tests to get the certificate. Funny, isn’t it ? But let’s hope that Intel can pass them all on the release date.

At the same time, we would strongly suggest getting any weird ideas of playing any new games on G35 and G45 out of your mind, as Intel’s IGP was always the worst possible solution to play and run any games. Don’t say we haven’t warned you.
