Sapphire's blue PCB

Earlier today we wrote about the 3DMark06 results of what was labeled as Sapphire's Radeon HD 3690 card. The mentioned card is pixelized this time and reveals Sapphire's self-designed blue PCB.

According to the report over at Expreview.com the card supports PowerPlay and works at 700MHz for the core and 1800MHz for 256MB of GDDR3 memory. It is cooled by single slot active cooling solution with an automatic temperature control fan.

The picture shows yet another interesting thing; unlike the HD 3650 that gets all the power juice needed from the PCIe slot, HD 3690 requires additional power via eight pin PCIe connector.

You can check out the pictures here or here.
