AMD releases Radeon Software 18.8.2 graphics driver

One to have for Strange Brigade and F1 2018

AMD has officially released its new Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.8.2 driver which fixes some bugs and brings optimizations for Strange Brigade and F1 2018 games.

According to the release notes, AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.8.2 is the one to have for Strange Brigade, where you should get a performance boost of around five percent on RX Vega 8GB and around three percent on RX 580 graphics cards. It also brings support for the F1 2018 game, but no specific performance improvements were listed.

In addition to these two games, the Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.8.2 driver also fixes some issues, including instability or stutter bugs in some games when playing with FRTC and Instant Replay enabled, various fixes for Far Cry 5 including one with HDR10 or when changing video settings, problems with FreeSync failing to enable in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and bugs with Radeon Chill and Upgrade Advisor.
