According to the release notes, the RSCRE 17.11.1 driver has necessary optimizations for Activision's Call of Duty: WWII game that should officially launch today, November 3rd, with up to five percent faster performance on Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB graphics card compared to the earlier RSCRE 17.10.3 driver. It also adds support for AMD XConnect technology on Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics cards for select eGPU enclosures.

In addition to the added support and optimizations, the new RSCRE 17.11.1 fixes a random hang or application crash while task switching in some gaming or productivity applications, issues with GPU or memory clocks reset with Radeon WattMan, issue with bezel compensation in mixed mode Eyefinity, issues with  overlapping text or corruption in the Multi GPU profiles page of Radeon Settings, problems with AMD XConnect technology and bugs with removal of a limited number of devices like printers during Radeon Software uninstallation.

It also fixes some issues in games and other applications like the minor corruption with Anisotropic Filtering (AF) enabled in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, ghosting or distortion problems in Middle-earth: Shadow of War on Multi GPU enabled system, random application hang of Oculus Dash and issues including application crash on limited numbers of DirectX 11 or OpenGL applications during their first run.
