Coming to notebooks with higher clocks

Although we have already had most of the details thanks to an earlier leak, Nvidia has now officially unveiled its new mainstream notebook GPUs, the Geforce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile and the GTX 1050 Mobile.

Based on Pascal GPUs, the new GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 notebook GPUs are pretty much identical to the desktop counterparts but come with slightly higher GPU clocks. The Geforce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile packs 768 CUDA cores and works at 1493MHz base and 1602MHz GPU Boost clocks. The GTX 1050 has 640 CUDA cores and works at 1354MHz GPU base and 1455MHz GPU Boost clocks.

Both the GTX 1050 Ti Mobile and the GTX 1050 Mobile will be coming with up to 4GB of GDDR5 memory, clocked at 7000MHz, with a 128-bit memory interface.

There are plenty of notebooks based on new GTX 1050 Mobile and GTX 1050 Ti Mobile GPUs at the CES 2017 show and some of them include Alienware 13, MSI GE62, ASUS GL502, HP Omen 15, Clevo P640 and Del XPS 15.
