AMD Radeon RX 460 now available in Europe

by on08 August 2016

Starting at €129 inc. tax

As promised by AMD late last week, the AMD Radeon RX 460 is now available in most of Europe, starting at €129 in most of  Europe and £99.95 in the UK.

As you already know, the AMD Radeon RX 460 is based on AMD's smaller Polaris 11 chip and packs 896 Stream Processors, 48 TMUs and 16 ROPs. It will be available with 2GB or 4GB of GDDR5 memory, paired up with a 128-bit memory interface and most will be based on a custom design.

The TDP of the RX 460 is set at below 75W, which means most will come without an additional PCIe power connector although there will be some custom factory-overclocked versions which will push that TDP higher and include a single 6-pin PCIe power connector.

In most of  Europe, the RX 460 2GB will be starting at €129 inc. tax, while the 4GB version will start at €159 inc. tax. Of course, there will be higher priced versions, as the ROG STRIX RX 460 OC, which could sell for as much as €189. In the UK, the price starts at £99.95 for the 2GB version and £134.99 for the 4GB version, both with VAT.

Meant for casual 1080p and MOBA gaming, the RX 460 trades blows with Nvidia's Geforce GTX 750 Ti, which starts at around €110 for the 2GB version and around €140 for the 4GB version.
