Already pixellized and detailed earlier this week, Gainward has now officially released its GF110 based GTX 570 Phantom card. Featuring a factory overclock and massive triple-slot cooler, the new Phantom GTX 570 has already gathered a lot of attention from the enthusiast market.

As noted, the new GTX 570 Phantom card features a triple-slot cooler that has six heatpipes paried up with a large area heatsink with copper base and a total of 44 aluminum fins. This massive heatsink is cooled by no less than three 80mm PWM fans. According to Gainward, this cooler is enough to keep the GTX 570 Phantom 15°C cooler and 58 percent quieter than the reference card.

Unfortunately, Gainward decided to keep the factory overclock at a rather modest level so the card works at 750MHz for the GPU, 1500MHz for shaders and 3900MHz for 1280MB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 320-bit memory interface. We are quite sure that with a such massive cooler the GTX 570 Phantom can certainly be overclocked even higher as we already had Gainward's GTX 570 GS GLH card that works at 800MHz for the GPU.

The card needs one 6-pin and one 8-pin power connector in order to work and has two DVI, an HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. Unfortunately, the card is yet to be listed and Gainward didn't announce the price or the availability date.
