Cebit 08: 9600GT sells well

We found out that 9600GT sales are even better than expected, and the reason is its name. Potential buyers will buy the cards for a simple reason – the higher number. 9600GT isn’t faster than 8800 GT, but due to the higher number many end up thinking it is.

So, 8800GT salesmen found themselves in hot water, mostly due to increasing demand for 9600GT and its price cuts. 8800 GT might end up being significantly pricier compared to 9600GT, so it might be the right time to buy an 8800GT, not 9600GT.

Geforce 9800GX2 isn’t quite spectacularly innovative, either, but this is the first card that you’ll be able to power down, and let your IGP graphics on Nvidia’s motherboards handle 2D content. This is, of course, when you’re not playing games and using Nvidia’s coming boards. This card will be launched soon.
