Updated: Now it's €509, we are to blame

A German
retailer is shipping Palit GTX 480 cards at €499 a pop. Although the MSRP is €479, this is by far the best GTX 480 offer we've seen in the EU market since the heavily delayed card launched a month ago.

There is not much to say about the card, it's a reference GTX 480 with 1536MB of memory and 700/924/1401MHz clocks. However, it worth noting that very few retailers actually have the card in stock and most are selling it for €550+ and some are asking more than €600 for Nvidia's latest toy.

You can get it here. The shipping cost for Germany is €7, but it seems you can have it shipped just about anywhere in the EU for €17.

Uptade: Since we posted the story, the retailer has increased the price to €509. So much for sane pricing.
