Nvidia's major announcement that a lot of fans were waiting is simply an announcement for PAX East 2010 that will be held on March 26th. Apparently, this is also the official launch date for the Geforce GTX 400 series, aka Fermi.

This major announcement has left a sour taste in the drooling mouths of many Nvidia fans that were hitting the F5 key on Nvidia's Facebook/Twitter page. PAX East 2010 will be held in Boston on March 26th, and Nvidia will use this day to launch its GTX 400 series cards.

A lot of fans were waiting for some details including the price or at least some performance numbers, but it looks like Nvidia is still keeping those for itself. Let's just hope that the upcoming CeBIT event will produce more details.
