Graphics on CPU

Clarkdale 32nm is the first CPU that will have a graphics die on the CPU. Intel has already officially said that graphics inside this CPU are 45nm based, probably similar to the G45 chipset, while the CPU will be a brand new 32nm Westmere generation that will support four threads in multi threading.

When it comes to graphics, Clarkdale will support two independent displays and the reference boards should have up to three digital display ports any combination of HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort. It is not clear if Clarkdale graphics supports analogue, but we are quite sure that VGA out should be possible, due the legacy monitor support.

It is still very cloudy about which chipset will support graphics on Clarkdale as Intel claims that P55, P57, H55 and H57 are all supporting Clarkdale, but we are under the impression that Intel plans to push P5x series with Lynnfield quad-core and H5x series with Clarkdale.
