Big push for gaming

Microsoft is trying its best to increase Xbox sale numbars, as apparently, Sony is doing much better when it comes to the console sales.

The Redmond giant that recently lost some serious money after unnecessary investments has a few new tricks at its sleeve. First off, the latest update, a possible RTM version of Windows, has "learned" how to stream games from Xbox to your PC.

You can take the content back from your console and TV to your PC. It would make things more interesting if you would be able to stream your PC games on Xbox One too.

The second big announcement that is that Xbox One will get a keyboard and a mouse. This means that the budget gamers will be able to have PC-like gaming experience on their gaming consoles. The Xbox One sells for €315 in Europe and some $349+ in states. This is much cheaper than any PC that we would dare to call a gaming PC.

Being able to stream games and the fact that mice and keyboards will work on the Xbox One should definitely positively affect the sales numbers of the console. It will also help companies like Logitech and Razer to sell more gaming mice and keyboards. This opens up a whole new market.

The third thing is a long term investment called DirectX 12. There will be some games in a few quarters that will support this API. This helps the whole PC industry, as people have to buy new computers, new WIndows 10 operating systems or upgrade their hardware. Never underestimate the power of the upgrade market that drives a lot of high margin sales.

Overall, when it comes to gaming Microsoft is more active than it has been in years.
