PC users having problems with the Dogs

by on28 May 2014

Uplay errors and drivers making things difficult

PC owners who purchased the new game Watch Dogs from Ubisoft are not happy campers. The new open-world haking adventure title is creating a lot of pain due to problems with the PC authentication errors to the Uplay servers. This isn’t the other problem either as graphics drivers are also creating challenges for those who own AMD video cards. (A driver update from AMD is said to resolve issues for AMD graphics card users.)

The problems with the authentication for PC users is apparently pretty wide spread as “Uplay has detected an unrecoverable error” thread on Steam forums has grown to over 35 pages with some users pretty unhappy with the situation to put it mildly.

Through a number of Tweets, Ubisoft has confirmed that they are aware of the issue and they putting all possible efforts into resolving the situation while the monitor the situation closely. Ubisoft is asking users to watch the Watch Dogs Twitter feed for more information and possible resolutions as they become available.

Follow the situation here on the Watch Dogs Twitter feed here.
