Games Convention 07: Coming in November

When we talked with the Razer at the Games Convention, we found out that Razer is finally preparing for the release its Razer Mako 2.1 THX certified bi-amplified speaker system.

The system should sound good since it is done in cooperation THX, and uses THX Ground Plane and THX Slot Speaker technologies. It actually reflects the sound from the surface on which you put it on, like your desk or shelve. Razer and THX overcame the problem of sound quality loss, which happens when you reflect the sound from the surface. Razer Mako uses bi-amplified satellites with two channels of 50W with digital DSP control. It uses ClassHD Digital Amplifier technology.

The new Mako 2.1 speaker system was shown at CES 2007 and it should be available sometime in November this year, just the right time for the Christmas shopping spree. The only bad thing is that it will cost around $300.

Razer also did a promotion of its new mouse called Lachesis at Games Convention. The Lachesis is actually a longest viper in the world. We wrote about the announcment of that new mouse here.
