After many days of waiting and the rumors in between the Zune HD is finally getting unleashed tomorrow, but now we’ve come across a video hinting at Zune HD’s 3D gaming potential.

The “hinting” comes from a short promo video which at one point shows the Zune HD running Forza 3, suggesting that Microsoft means business and intends to make the Zune HD a more than just competitor to any portable media player/gaming device.

We’re also hearing rumors of potential integration of Zune Marketplace into Xbox Live, but we’ll have to wait and see, as Microsoft’s absence of touting the device as the “best gaming device ever” either means that it’s not focused on gaming that much or that the company is getting ready to surprise everyone. Nvidia’s site only briefly mentions games, which seems to concur with the former.

Whether the Zune HD will become a competitor on the gaming handheld market is yet to be seen, but early adopters/bargain-hunters will be glad to hear that Dell is already offering discounts on the device, saving you $43 or $33 depending on whether it’s the 32GB or 16GB model you choose.
