And World in Conflict with it

Yesterday, Ubisoft announced the purchase of Massive Entertainment, a Swedish developer that wasn’t deemed a keeper by Activision-Blizzard in their recent merger aftermath.

The rights to the RTS World in Conflict were also purchased, so Ubisoft’s shopping spree will result in seeing this game published under their logo in the future.

So, Activision-Blizzard merger’s unwanted fragments are mostly taken care of, as Ghostbusters immigrated to Atari and 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand was purchased by THQ; although the latter one might have not been so wise considering the bad times within the company. This only leaves Double Fine’s Brutal Legend, but it’s rumored that it is about to find a home soon.

You can read more here, where you’ll also find Ubisoft’s press release.
