This time of the black model

We showed you a picture of the white MSI X400 yesterday alongside the specs and today we have some more detailed pictures, of the black version. The white model has blue trim around the touch pad, while the black one has been given an orange trim which works better with the black chassis in our opinion.

The two notebooks are otherwise identical in terms of features and specifications, although if we had a choice, we'd go for the black one as it looks much cooler, but we're sure everyone doesn't share that opinion with us.

As you can see from the pictures, on the left hand side you have the D-sub connector, the Ethernet port and the HDMI connector, while on the right you'll find the two USB 2.0 ports and the audio jacks, as well as the power connector, but we somehow missed to spot the memory card reader.

What wasn't mentioned yesterday is that the X400 comes with 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and a 1.3Megapixel webcam, but so far MSI hasn't said if it'll come with a built in 3G option or not. We'd also like to have seen the combined USB/eSATA connector that the X600 offers on the X400.
