Going into nettop and notebook market as well

During CeBIT, we had a chance to have a nice talk with one of the POV reps, and apparently POV is very confident about its netbook Mobii, which according to the info from POV, is selling pretty good. In fact POV has used CeBIT to announced that they are going to do nettops and even notebook products.

Point of View's Mobii had some success in the netbook part of the market and POV is now considering entering the notebook and nettop market as well. During CeBIT, Point of View told us it plans to launch a slim notebook, powered by a Core 2 Duo CPU and SiS Mirage 3 chipset.

As we mentioned, POV is also entering the nettop market as well, and we believe that they will do Nvidia's ION once that thing comes out, but for now good old Intel chipset + Atom is all that they are ready to talk about.

According to some info that we managed to get, POV is expecting to have its first notebooks and nettops in Q2, or just in time for Computex and we will certainly keep our eye on these guys. We were just glad that the "new" GTS 250 wasn't the main thing on the show for this Nvidia partner.
