Cebit 08:
Neural Impulse Actuator ships soon

OCZ’s Neural Impulse Actuator, or NIA, is in its final stages of tweaking and it should be hitting the shelves really soon.

The interface is changed from the old serial to the new USB port, which gives it a better response time, and it also gets all of its power from the same USB port. The second change is the design of the headband which is now much smaller and more comfortable since it is rubberized.

According to what we could see, it is really shaping up into a really good product, and we had a chance to try it before and it was really good, so this version can only be better.
The little box is the final design, and this is how it will look.

The only thing that OCZ has to do is additional tweaking to the calibration software and NIA should be ready for retail. The estimated price should be somewhere around US $200, which is a bit expensive, but once you try it you will definitely want one.
