Altough we reported about Target going Blu-ray only over the weekend, it turns out that this wasn't teh case at all and the source of this information got it wrong.

However, Target is working with Sony to promote Blu-ray and it will displaying Sony's Blu-ray players in its aisle end caps to make it easier for its customers to see them.

It seems like the Blu-ray/HD DVD war is far from over and although both camps are spreading enough FUD to confuse the consumers, there's no clear winner as yet.
