UPS seems to have a problem with the Fruit themed toy maker Apple.

For some reason it is insisting that all PCs made by Jobs' Mob in China are inspected by the Food and Drug administration when they are bought into the country.

For those of us in Europe, the FDA has to inspect everything live, or which can be eaten, as it comes into the Land of the Free. Does this mean that Jobs' Mob is making a living and breathing computer?

According to Cultofmac there is a problem in the UPS computer system. Whenever it sees “Apples from China” it thinks they are fruit. How long the computers are stuck before the FDA realises the problem no one knows.

Normally fruit is shoved in a vacuum chamber to kill off any bugs. Clearly this has not worked with the iMac which has loads of them.
