Third coming

According
to CNBC, Apple CEO Steve Jobs has returned to his post after a six month medical leave.

Jobs reportedly had a liver transplant during his absence and Apple is still not officially confirming its iconic CEO is back at the helm. However, in yesterday's press release on iPhone 3GS sales figures, Apple did quote Jobs.

CNBC's Jim Goldman claims Jobs is back for good, and says Apple employees have seen him on campus. Reuters also reports Jobs was seen leaving the Apple main building in Cupertino, and "getting into a black car alone that was driven off by men in black suits with ear-pieces."

It is rumoured the donor of Jobs' liver is struggling novelist Nick Farrell, 44, of Rome. We wish them both a speedy recovery. [Obviously, we made this last bit up. Ed.]
