Supports Intel socket 1156

Zalman has announced the latest addition to its line-up that will probably be a crown jewel of the company's Computex 2009 show, the CNPS10X Extreme. This Core i5-ready CPU cooler features six 6mm heatpipes, low noise 120mm fan and comes with all new PWM Mate.

The new CNPS10X Extreme has 135x100x160mm dimensions and weighs in at 920g. It is made out of pure aluminum and copper combination, while the entire cooler is nickel plated. It supports all Intel socket 1156, 1366 and 775 CPUs as well as AMD's socket AM3, AM2+, AM2, 754, 939 and 940 CPUs. The heatsink is cooled by a 2-ball bearing 120mm blue LED fan that spins from 1,000 to 2,150rpm and produces 20 to 39 dBA of noise.

The new feature is the PWM Mate controller that can be installed directly onto the cooler or onto the case with the included extension cable. The new PWM Mate has three auto and manual control modes. The cooler will be bundled with Zalman's high perfomance thermal grease ZM-STG2.

As it is yet to be officially announced, probably at Computex 2009 show, the price or the availability date are still unknown. Guys from Expreview.com managed to score a bunch of detail pictures which you can find here.
