Today OCZ released its Summit Series 2.5’’ SSDs boasting speeds of up to 220MB/s read and 200MB/s write. The drives feature 128MB of cache and come in 60GB, 120GB and 250GB flavors.

Don’t be confused by the strange numbers, as drive capacities are usually closer to these numbers than their respective 64, 128 and 256 figures after formatting, but we’re guessing that OCZ wanted to be honest.

60GB drives feature read speeds of up to 220MB/s and write speeds up to 125MB/s, with sustained write of up to 120MB/s. Both the 120GB and 250GB version read up to 220MB/s and write up to 200MB/s with sustained write speeds of up to 200MB/s as well.
