Larger version of the nScreen i91

Although we only picked up on the BenQ nScreen i91 yesterday, it appears that BenQ has already announced another version called the nScreen i221, at least for the Japanese market, but we'd expect it to turn up in other parts of the world as well.

The main hardware seems to be the same, as the nScreen i221 uses the AMD Yukon platform and the Sempron U210 processor. However, BenQ has gone for a much larger 21.5-inch with full HD or 1,920x1,080 resolution. We're not sure if the AMD 690E chipset is the ideal partner for a high-resolution display like this, but it should at least be ok for non-gaming applications.

Oddly enough, despite its size, BenQ decided not to opt for an internal optical drive which seems like a shame on a system like this and the additional cost would've been minimal. However, at about €460 we can't see BenQ selling too many of these systems once it hits retail in Japan in the end of April.
