Another all-in-one

Although all-in-ones might not be the most popular systems around, we already reported that MSI isn't keen on letting go of this potential niche and now they've officially announced its latest addition to the product line with the Wind Top AE 1900-WH.

The Wind Top looks sleek, but we're growing weary of the spec's commonly associated with the “top” suffix, as an Atom 230 at 1.6GHz and Intel’s old man 945GC and ICH7 have nothing “top” about them. On the other hand, the system might still have plenty to offer, as it’s not aimed at gamers or alike.

The specifications list consists of 802.11b/g WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, a 160GB HDD, a DVD drive and a 4-in-1 card reader. The sytem also comes with 1GB of RAM, but 2GB is likely to be an option. The system will run Windows XP SP3 and feature an 18.5-inch 16:9 screen with 1,366×768 resolution.

However, a good thing about this system is its 35W consumption although, oddly enough, it comes with a 65W power brick. It measures 550 x 420 x 35mm (W x H x D) and weighs in at 4.75kg. The WH in the stands for white color, and a BK (black) model is also expected to come at some point.

The AP1900 is scheduled for launch in March and should be priced between €500-600.
