3840x1200 resolution, VA-panel, and 120Hz refresh rate

Samsung has unveiled its latest C43J89 43-inch ultrawide monitor which will come with a unique 32:10 aspect ratio VA-panel with 3840x1200 resolution, which pretty much means you get two 1920x1200 monitors without the middle bezel.

As noted, the new Samsung C43J89 monitor uses a VA-panel and offers a refresh rate of 120Hz, support for 8-bit color, 250cd/m2 typical brightness, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angles, and a 5ms response time. Bear in mind that this a curved monitor with 1800R curvature. Unfortunately, Samsung does not say if it supports Nvidia G-Sync or AMD FreeSync.

As it has enough screen to show two 1920x1200 monitors, it comes as no surprise that Samsung included the Picture-by-Picture mode, as well as a built-in KVM switch which letting you toggle control between the devices with a single button on the monitor.

When it comes to inputs, the Samsung C43J89 features HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, two USB Type-C ports, three USB 3.0 ports and a headphone input.

It also has two built-in 5W speakers, Samsung's Eye Saver and Flicker Free technologies, and a stand which allows swivel, tilt and height adjustments. Of course, it supports VESA 100x100 wall mount as well.

Of course, all those features and that 43-inch VA-panel come with a hefty price tag which will sit around US $900 when it launches later this year.
