Thou shalt not call customers chavs

Virgin Atlantic
has fired 13 of its cabin staff after they criticized the airline and some of its passengers on social networking Website, Facebook.

The 13 correctly identified Virgin Atlantic’s punters as ‘Chavs’ who were ill equipped to fly anywhere.  It also said that the outfit's planes were full of cockroaches.  We assume that it was not referring to passengers who come from Essex. The airline, controlled by Richard Branson's Virgin group, said the staff's behavior was "totally inappropriate" and "brought the company into disrepute."

"There is a time and a place for Facebook. But there is no justification for it to be used as a sounding board for staff of any company to criticize the very passengers who ultimately pay their salaries," a spokesman said. True, they might, but the last time I got on a Virgin plane I was surrounded by shell suited chavs who sexually abused the flight attendant, squealed at every bump and tried to get the drink trolley away from me.
