Privacy concerns

 

Search Engine Google has fallen foul of a European Commission advisory group over the way it uses and manages users' search data.

The group has sent Google a letter expressing concern over the search giant's new privacy policy.
It is unhappy about the way Google anonymizing its server logs after 18 to 24 months.

Google has said it will meet with the Commission next month.  It changed its policy to maintain security and prevent fraud and abuse.
