Keeps the Intel 750 SSD cool

EK Water Blocks, liquid cooling specialist from Slovenia, has unveiled its first ever solid-state drive (SSD) water block, the EK-FC I750 SSD.

Designed and developed in cooperation with Intel, the new EK-FC I750 SSD water block is meant to be used with Intel's SSD 750 Series, an NVMe PCI-Express Gen3 x4 interface HHHL add-in card form-factor SSD available in 400GB, 800GB and 1.2TB capacities.

Based on a full-cover water block design, the EK-FC I750 SSD follows the overall look of the original passive cooler designed by Intel and covers the entire PCB.

The EK-FC I750 SSD block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper with stainless steel cover. The block itself features a high flow design which makes it suitable even with liquid cooling systems with weaker water pumps. The block comes with screw-in brass standoffs and is bundled with additional EK-FC Terminal with two G1/4" threaded ports on the side.

According to EK Water Blocks, the EK-FC I750 SSD is already available via EK Webshop and its Partner Reseller Network with a price set at €89,95. Hopefully, EK Water Blocks will make a few more versions of the EK-FC I750 SSD with clear top.
