The Prelude 64 X-Fire

Maingear is the first system builder to announce the use of AMD's new 790GX chipset. The Prelude 64 X-Fire system comes with Asus' M3A78-T motherboard based on the 790GX/SB750 chipset with 128MB of GDDR3 SidePort memory.

Besides the new chipset, Maingear's Prelude system can be equipped with a wide range of ATI's card, from a single HD 3470 up to three Visiontek's ATI Radeon HD 4870's for some triple Crossfire fun.

The base model includes an AMD Phenom X3 8450 processor working at 2.1GHz, 2GBs of Kingston's HyperX DDR2 memory and a single ATI Radeon HD 3470 512MB GDDR3 capable of Hybrid Crossfire.
